The 6th Annual All Nations Skate Jam was a big success this past weekend – April 28 & 29. The weather was beautiful, the shredding was on, and the pros were in the house. We had Jaime Thomas and the Zero crew on site as well as Ryan Reyes, Darren Navarette, and the team from Creature. Huge supporters Vans and Tony Alva were also at the event – making hot dogs, taking pictures, and signing autographs with the rest of the pros. We’ve posted lots of photos on our photo page so be sure and check them out!
The contest, led by American Nomad Bill Danforth, was also on point. Featuring local rippers and Native youth from around the country. The Lummi Wappers came down from Washington. Lucky Day Skate Co. came from across the Southwest. West Side Boys were representing Albuquerque. Skaters from all over set their sites on killer prizes from our sponsors, including the Top Native category. Visit our photo pagefor a few of the top natives posing with their NDN bling.
Yes, some jerks stole the event trailer out of the parking lot of our hotel, but we’re not going to let them ruin our celebration of a successful event! If you find anyone trying to sell our limited edition Pendleton Vans please send us an email ([email protected]).
If you came to our event and took pictures, send them to us! Email your favorite ANSJ 6 photos to[email protected] for a chance to be our Facebook cover photo!
Thank you to everyone who helped out with the best ANSJ yet! Without our crew of volunteers we could not have had 6 super successful skate jams. We also want to thank Vans, Zero, Creature, Native Skates, Lummi Wappers, Lucky Day Skate, New Mexico Xtreme (NMX), The Mix Game Room, Pepsico, Gatorade, Frito Lay, all of our live performers, Wayne Bennett & the Short Bus, and Robert Palmer who emceed the event. You all rock and we can’t wait to see you next year for ANSJ 7!!
